Sophia passed away at the Arcola Health Centre, Arcola, Sask. on August 16, 2024 at the age of 62.

The Wake will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at the White Bear First Nations Community Hall. The traditional feast will commence at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 23, 2024, followed by the Funeral Service and giveaway, at the same location. Elder Michael Lonechild will be the speaker. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, White Bear First Nations.
