A total of 54 individuals appeared in Biggar Provincial Court on Wednesday, as the Biggar RCMP shared a laundry list of charges in their September 2 report.
One of the early cases on the docket was the first appearance for a Biggar individual after they were charged with assault back in July.

The next biggest case brought a pair of youths to the stand, as SGT. Dereck Crozier with the Biggar RCMP broke down the situation.
"Lawyers will be busy this day with a 17-year-old youth and their 15-year-old accomplice that have spent the last eight months on a rebellious trend. shared Crozier. "With a total disregard for others and rules to follow, the two compiled a résumé of 34 charges before the court."
The 17-year-old appeared in court facing the following charges:
- one count uttering threats;
- four counts of arson;
- one count of a minor possessing alcohol;
- two counts of mischief;
- four counts of theft of vehicles;
- one count of driving without a license;
- three counts of break and enter to a residence;
- one count of possession of stolen property;
- one count of theft under $5000;
- one count of causing unnecessary suffering to animals, and;
- two counts of failing to comply with conditions.
The 15-year-old was charged with:
- four counts of arson;
- two counts of thefts of vehicles;
- one count of possession of stolen property;
- two counts of break and enter to a residence;
- one count of minor possessing liquor and;
- three counts of failing to comply with conditions.
The September 2 report also included a reported arson to a home on 5 Avenue West in Biggar.
The renter was home at the time and was able to alert a quick response from our fire department." shared Crozier, as the structure avoided a total loss. "The incident remains under investigation with the assistance of the provincial fire investigator."
Also during the most recent reporting period, Biggar members would speak with a disgruntled male causing issues at the town office.
