High school football set to kickoff

With classes back in session, action on the gridiron is set to begin. 

High school football gets underway today with one matchup in Six-man football as the Wakaw Warriors host the Hague Panthers in their season opener.  

On Friday, it will be a busy day for local teams.  

The Humboldt Collegiate Institute Mohawks begin their new season with a new opponent, the Kindersley Kobras at Glenn Hall Park.  

In Six-Man action, Watrous Wildcats will head south to meet the Assiniboia Rockets. 

The Wynyard Bears visit the Ituna Trojans.  

The Lanigan Lazers will host the Southey Screaming Eagles. 

The St. Brieux Crusaders heads to Big River  

The Viscount Vikings take on the Hanley Sabers.
