Citizens of Lacombe answered the call yesterday, donating 2,060 lbs of food to the Lacombe Food Bank.
The Rotary Club of Lacombe hosted a Food Bank Drive setting up trucks at No Frills, Sobeys, and Co-op.
In addition, $572.50 in cash donations was collected.
If you weren't able to make it to the Food Bank Drive yesterday, you can still donate in person at the Lacombe Food Bank.
Hours of operation are:
Tuesday 1-4 pm
Wednesday 1-4 pm
Thursday 6-8 pm
Friday 1-3 pm
Closed Saturday - Monday
You can also visit the Lacombe Food Bank website to donate by e-transfer.
The Rotary Club of Lacombe consists of around 15 members and is always looking for more.
