Week 3 of high school football across the region gets underway on Thursday.
In a game that you can listen to Bolt FM, Wakaw will host Shellbrook.
Wakaw has started strong in 2024, picking up a pair of wins in their first two games with a pair of convincing wins. Shellbrook is 0-2, but were involved in a pair of close games, losing to Creighton by two, and were defeated by Hague by seven points.
Kickoff tonight is at 7:00.
Also in Thursday’s action,
Wynyard will travel to Southey for a night game, featuring the two undefeated teams. Both teams have enjoyed dominating starts to their season, Wynard’s point differential is +63 so far, while Southey is +95.
Lanigan will travel to Ituna. Both teams will be looking for their first win of the season after each team was defeated by Wynyard and Southey.
Friday’s action will feature another night game, as Humboldt hosts Delisle at 7:30.
The Mohawks have split their first two games, with a win against Kindersley followed by a loss in North Battleford. Delisle has earned a pair of wins to begin their season.
Watrous will try and rebound in Davidson. The Wildcats opened the season with a win but were defeated by Clavet last week. Davidson has dropped both of their games.
