As the warmth of summer gives way to the crisp, colourful days of fall, our furry companions remain by our side, ready for every adventure the new season brings. From lounging in the last rays of summer sunshine to frolicking in the crunchy autumn leaves, September’s Perfect Pet Contest has brought us a wonderful mix of pets who capture the joy and comfort of this changing season.
Ruby
Ruby is an 8 year old Staffordshire terrier and still very much a big baby. She is a very vocal girl who’s hobbies include walks, car rides to the dog park(to try snoop in gopher holes), laying in the backyard soaking up some sun, and being a bug for food.
Nancy
Nancy is a 4 month old Speckle Park heifer who identifies as a dog. She loves treats, scratches under her neck and chin, hanging out by the fire on cool nights and participating in 4-H festivities.
Bianca
Bianca is a Maltese cross. She is 10 years old but her cuteness and small size (5 lbs), people think she is a puppy! She is totally a lap dog and loves everyone!
Koda
He's just a huge cuddle baby. Loves everyone he meets and his only threat is when he wags his tail! Oh and his tongue, he will lick you till you get wrinkles if you let him!
Lena
Lena is a 3 1/2 yr old German Shepherd who lives to play ball though you wouldn’t know it from this picture!
Murray
Murray is a 13 1/2 yr old Shih Tzu cross. He’s like a ghost and always lurking!
Sadie
Meet Sadie! She’s currently being fostered through the Estevan Humane Society. She was found as an emaciated stray with a litter of NINE. Which she did an amazing job raising! Sades is still such a puppy at heart. She loves to play with our dogs and carrying her orange monkey around. Shes always nudging and cuddling for affection and loves our kids! We’ve really enjoyed getting to know her this summer as a mom and as the playful young dog she is!
Trixie
Trixie is 3 years old and she loves to cuddle and lay in the sun. We adopted her from the Humaine Society and she is great with the kids. She also loves to purr!
Seraphim
Seraphim is the sweetest little chihuahua. She is a couch potato who loves attention from everyone.
Pixel
Pixel is a very vocal boy. This little chihuahua barks at everything and everyone. Once he is comfortable with them he is so loving and affectionate.
Chessy
Chessy is our foster fail. She is a big, beautiful girl. She has a lot of concern and mistrust about people. She loves doggy daycare and other animals. I recently fostered a kitten and Chessy was so happy to mother him.
Clover
Clover and Tiggy love each other, they have a special bond. Everyday Tiggy gives Clover kisses and snuggles.
Hazel
Hazel came into our live at the end of 2023. She’s a rescue from the Regina humane society. She is an 11 month old shepherd/pit cross. She has an incredible bond with her fur siblings and has fit into our household perfectly since day one. She is a very smart, affectionate and caring dog. She loves cuddling, running around the house and yard, playing fetch and tug-of-war, going for walks, to the dog park, playcare and going to trick training classes. She catches on quit fast once she knows what is expected. I foster thru a rescue and she loves playing with them and lets them cuddle with her and brings them comfort. She has been an amazing addition to our family and it was love at first sight.
Roscoe
Roscoe is an energetic pup that loves his people,treats, food and his fur brother Blue. He is still learning about himself and about the world around him, but he is absolutely adorable and we wouldn’t trade him for the world♥️
Stryker
At 2.5 years old, Stryker is the biggest sweetheart you will meet. She is a very vocal Staffordshire terrier/ American bulldog! She loves her daily walks, hanging out at home with mom, and cuddling with her cats on the couch . ????☀️ She’s also known for her playfulness and being super silly making her mom laugh. Stryker also loves to try and give you puppy dog eyes for what ever it is that you may be eating. ????️
Milo
Milo is a 2 year old 9 pound maltipoo full of love and energy. He loves to go for walks and truck rides but is content being a lap dog. A day never goes by where this little guy doesn’t give me a reason to laugh and smile.
Mocha
Mocha is approximately 6 years old, we got her from the Estevan Humane Society. She is sweet, cute and clumsy all at the same time. She loves to climb trees and go for as many walks as possible. She is so well mannered and we wouldn’t trade her for anything.
Sandy
She is a multipoo One and a half years old. Very loving Has to be right with me all the time that I’m home. If I leave her alone for any amount of time she just goes nuts when I return.
Missy
Missy is my fur-bestie. She loves to run, and gives the best snuggles when needed. She loves bike rides, my mom hooks her up to her bike and we go for a bikeride/run She is going to be turning 2 this September.
Kona
I am a F1B miniature golden doodle. I love chasing bunnies, trips to the mountains, walks with mom and dad, and running around with all my friends at the dog park.
Tank
Tank is 3 years old and male. He sounds like a ghost when he cries loves his tummy rubbed and is 1 of 5 kittens from his moms litter 2 of his siblings also live with tank. He’s like a little teddy bear ????
Tubby the Prince
Tubby is 4 years old. He is the only house kitty on the farm. He loves going outside everyday and saying hi to the outside farm cats. Here is a pic of Tubby up in a tree.
Millie
Millie is a 1 year old golden retriever and lab mix. She loves to cuddle in the mornings and pretend to be a little lap dog. And play not stop for the rest of the day with all her squeaky toys.
Aurora
One and a half year old dog that we rescued from the Swift Current area last year. She is always happy, jumping a digging in the yard. She is the first one at my toddlers bed when he wakes up in the morning, and the first one to comfort him when he is upset. Aurora is the second mom in the house, and having her in our family is the best decision we’ve made in a long time.
Chewie
He loves when it’s snowing outside. He also does circles at the door when he wants outside. Then one scratch only on the door to come back inside. He looked like Chewbacca as a pup so I named him accordingly.
Taco or Slurpy
We have more grass then we need so we decided to share it with a couple horses. They came here in the spring not much for human contact. After a few months of being here they started to like the pets and started to get a little goofy.
Arnie
Arnie is a border collie x - he’s always a happy boy! He’s full of energy - he loves playing fetch & going for a swim!
Yeti
Yeti is a Jack Russell x - he’s a momma’s boy with an old soul - he loves to sleep undercover & would hang on the couch all day with someone.
Izzy
Izzy is a small, short haired cat from Estevan Humane Society She loves cuddles & attacking her canine brothers.
Jazeppa
Jazeppa is named after my patron saints' Mom. It means 'God will add'. She has added so much joy, spunk, energy and love into our family. We are very thankful for her everyday.
