Estevan police responded to a variety of calls over the past two days, ranging from trespassing and domestic disturbances to mental health emergencies and fraud. Several individuals were taken to hospital, while others faced fines and charges.

On Monday, EPS and EMS were dispatched to an apartment after a report of a woman in distress. She was assessed at the scene and transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

Police also responded to a report of a woman trespassing on a neighbour's property. The woman who was found in the area, was warned about her actions.

Later, officers were called to a residence for a domestic disturbance. Both male and female occupants were spoken to, and the situation was defused.

The following day, EPS and EMS were dispatched to a residence after a man in distress made comments about self-harm. He was unharmed when police arrived and was taken to hospital by EMS for further evaluation.

In a separate incident, officers were called about a man expressing thoughts of self-harm in public. Police conducted extensive patrols but were unable to locate him.

EPS also responded to a call about an unwanted person at a residence. The individual had left before police arrived, and it was determined they were picking up items for a former resident.

Several reports of suspicious persons were made across the city. Officers spoke with the individuals and informed them of the concerns.

A report of fraud saw an individual lose approximately $1,500 after sending money to a cryptocurrency account, which police believe was a scam.

An Estevan resident reported two people inside her vehicle during the night. Police conducted patrols, but the suspects fled before officers arrived. The investigation is ongoing, and police remind residents to secure their vehicles and remove valuables from view.

Police also caught several youths throwing paintballs in the Power Dodge Arena parking lot. They were identified and charged under the Environmental Management and Protection Act, each receiving a $580 fine.
