Dinsmore Composite School came alive on Saturday, September 28, as it hosted the annual Rock the Block Volleyball Tournament. Since its inception in 2016, this event has grown into a key fixture in the community, bringing together 20 volleyball teams from across the region. The tournament took place across two venues, the Dinsmore Memorial Arena and Dinsmore Composite School, with four separate tournaments for Senior Boys, Senior Girls, Junior Boys, and Junior Girls.
Throughout the day, more than 500 visitors—including players, coaches, volunteers, officials, and spectators—gathered in Dinsmore to enjoy the competition and cheer on their teams.

Organizing an event of this size requires significant support, and thanks are due to many who contributed to its success. Finally, a special thanks to Shauna, who coordinated food for the 500 people in attendance, ensuring that everyone was well-fed throughout the day, from the early start at 8 a.m. until the event wrapped up at 10 p.m.
