Residents and commuters should be prepared for a temporary road closure near Crossfield from this morning until the afternoon.
According to the town of Crossfield, detours will help traffic flow smoothly during the closure.
Commercial and heavy vehicles travelling west on Limit Avenue (Highway 574) will be rerouted to Range Road 12, continuing to Western Drive. In contrast, vehicles approaching Highway 2A will be detoured to Western Drive and directed to Range Road 12.
Passenger and light vehicles will follow a different detour, taking Ross Street, Mountain Avenue, and Railway Street to rejoin Limit Avenue (Highway 574).
Officials are encouraging drivers to follow posted signage to navigate the detours safely.
