The Humboldt Broncos emerged from the weekend taking five out of possible six points following a three game in three-day stretch that included a home and home set with the Kindersley Klippers and a Sunday matinee contest in Yorkton.

The Broncos began their weekend by salvaging a single point with an overtime loss in Kindersley.
Rylan Hue and Jacob Strizzi each recorded their second goal of the season.
The Klippers Will Christian ended the game with the overtime winner.
In his first game of the season, Ty Matonovich made 37 saves.
Kindersley’s Brett O’Halloran had 32 saves for the win.
Humboldt was 0 for 2 on the power play and were a perfect 5 for 5 on the penalty kill.
Saturday result: Humboldt 4 Kindersley 1
The Broncos were able to rebound on Saturday night, picking up a 4-1 win over the Klippers at the Elgar Petersen Arena.
Strizzi scored a pair of goals, one on the power play and another goal shorthanded.
Conner Miller and Jeter Korte also scored for the Broncos.
Edouard Gauthier had 30 saves to collect the win in net.
The Klippers Nathan Claydon also had 30 saves for the evening.
On the extra-man advantage, the Broncos were 1 for 2, and was 3 for 4 on the penalty kill.
Sunday result: Humboldt 7 Yorkton 4
The Broncos were able to avenge their first loss of the season after skating away with a 7-4 road victory in Yorkton in Sunday matinee.
Brayden Skogstad led Humboldt goal scorers with first two goals of the season.
Strizzi, Ryder Knutson, Gabriel Filion, Marek Mamic, and Landen Stromme also scored for the Broncos.
Gauthier made 16 saves for the win.
The Broncos outshot the Terriers 43-20.
On the power play, Humboldt was 0 for 8 and on the penalty kill they were 5 for 7.
With the five points on the weekend, the Broncos sit on top of the Nutrien Division with a 4-1-1-0 record.
Next action for Humboldt is Wednesday night when they host the Estevan Bruins. Opening faceoff is 7:00.
The Broncos will square off with the Battlefords North Stars in a home and home set, Friday night they will face off in North Battleford and then meet in Humboldt on Saturday.
