The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) announced their weekly award winners on Monday, with one member of the Humboldt Broncos recognized.
Jacob Strizzi was named the Bourgault Forward of the Week.
He had 5 PTS (4G-1A) throughout three games last week.
Strizzi had goals in all three games, including a pair on Saturday night against the Klippers. The first goal was on the power play, and Strizzi’s second goal was a shorthanded marker.
So far this season, the Vaughan ON product has 8 PTS (5G-3A) in six games. Strizzi has already surpassed his goal total from last season, when he scored four times in 22 games.
