Central Alberta women are invited to network, learn, and build relationships through the Power of an Unstoppable Woman Conference.
The two-day event this weekend (Oct. 19) to Oct. 20) features 14 speakers and presenters from across North America, who all have a different story to share, and experience to take participants through.
“The speaker's mission is to inspire, and to ignite a spark of hope to shift someone's life,” said Anita Adrain Event Host.
“Building a community, often women feel like they're going through something themselves, but in reality, they're not,” Cheryl Viczko Event host added.
“We invite women to come learn, to be inspired, to network, and to make friends that will change their lives.”
Adrain explained that the event is about uplifting and empowering women while giving women a space to gather for collaboration.
Last year, one participant drove 16 hours to attend the conference and met another attendee from Texas.
“The connection and the collaboration that those two women have created is unforgettable,” Adrain said. “It has not only shifted both of their lives but those of their family and their communities in such a positive and profound way that the ripple continues one year later.”
The Power of an Unstoppable Woman Conference is today (Oct.19) until Sunday (Oct. 20) at the Westerner Park Harvest Centre.
