Jake Hargrave will suit up for Team Saskatchewan at the WHL Cup
Categories

Team Saskatchewan at the WHL Cup will have a pretty familiar look.

There will be five members of the Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires suiting up in the showcase between the four western provinces later this month. The Legionnaire are sending more representatives than any other U18 AAA hockey club in the province.

They include Cade Mitchell of Gull Lake, Jake Hargrave of Lucky Lake, Carter Moen of Swift Current, Trae Peterson of Sturgis and Hunter Wilm of Central Butte.

Moen and Calum Brownlee of Winnipeg are the two Swift Current Broncos prospects in the tournament.

Mitchell is property of the Moose Jaw Warriors, Hargrave was drafted by Kelowna, Peterson is in the Tri-City Americans' system and Wilm is a Regina Pats draft pick.

The event runs from October 23-27 in Red Deer with a round robin followed by a playoff round.

Swift Current is off to good start to the U18 AAA season with a 3-1 record heading into this weekend's games in the Battlefords.
