The Portage Terriers will take on another opponent for the first time this season with a matchup against the Swan Valley Stampeders. After sweeping the season series last year, Portage looks to even up their record this year with another win.
Swan Valley has had a slow start to the season this year, only one win in eight games thus far and only 14 goals to their credit.
Portage has won two of their last three games, but currently own a 3-4-0-0 record to start the year. A win against Swan Valley could be a positive for their team confidence going into another matchup with the Winkler Flyers on Sunday.
On another note, Scott Cousins makes his return to the lineup, which will be a welcome addition. Cousins has not played since being injured in the season-opener against Neepawa.
