The Blackfalds Bulldogs went 0-4 on their first road trip of the season, falling 6-3 to Chilliwack Saturday night.
The Bulldogs remain winless on the season, sitting with an 0-7 record after dropping their first three games at home.
Blackfalds opened the scoring against the Chiefs when Alexander Dimitriadis found the back of the net 4:42 into the first.
Chilliwack would take a 2-1 lead into the first intermission with goals by Connor Dick and Mateo Mrsic.
Joey Melo tied things up on the power play 3:01 into the second.
The Chiefs took a commanding 5-2 lead into the final frame with second-period goals by Savin Virk, Caleb Elfering, and Mrsic with his second of the game.

Nathan Morin would seal the 6-3 victory for the Chiefs with his third of the season late in the period.
Bulldogs' goaltender Waylon Esche let in 5 goals on 17 shots before being replaced late in the second period by Mikkel Christensen.
Chilliwack outshot Blackfalds 28-23. Both teams ended the night 1-for-4 on the power play.
Blackfalds will take part in the 2024 BCHL Showcase in Abbotsford, BC on Monday taking on the Vernon Vipers at 10 a.m. PDT.
