Shaun Meachem, Kelly Schafer and Chris and Teejay Haichert from the Swift Current Curling Club remained perfect at the World Mixed Curling Championship with a 6-2 victory over Team Hungary on Monday in Aberdeen, Scotland.

After blanking the first two ends, Canada opened the scoring with a deuce in the third end and a steal of one in the fourth to go up 3-0 at the break. Balazas Foti and company got on the board with two in the fifth end to cut their deficit to 3-2, but Meachem would score three in the seventh and run Hungary out of rocks in the eighth to improve to 3-0 at the event.

Canada will face Team England in their next game on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. The game can be streamed live on The Curling Channel.
