Legionnaires continue winning streak

The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires extended their winning streak to five games over the weekend.

They beat the Battlefords Stars 8-3 on Saturday and 5-1 on Sunday.

Swift Current now sits second in the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA league with a 5-1 record.

Jake Hargrave led the Legionnaires with 5 points over the two games. Swift Current Broncos prospect Carter Moen added 4 points.

Cade Mitchell won Saturday's game in net, while Berney Weston got the victory on Sunday in his return to the Legionnaires from the WHL. 

The Legionnaires visit Notre Dame on Saturday.
