Team Canada, skipped by Shaun Meachem of the Swift Current Curling Club, picked up two more wins at the World Mixed Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland on Wednesday.

Meachem, Kelly Schafer and Chris and Teejay Haichert opened the day with a 10-2 victory over Czechia, scoring eight unanswered points over the last three ends. Team Canada then kept their unbeaten run alive with a 15-1 win over the Philippines in the evening draw.

Canada (6-0) clinched top spot in group A after New Zealand lost 4-3 to England early Thursday morning. The Meachem rink will face New Zealand in their final round robin game on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. The game can be streamed live on The Curling Channel.

The round of 16 and quarter-final games are on Friday with the semi-final and medal games set for Saturday.
