The Humboldt Broncos have named their leadership group for the 2024-25 season.
Landen Stromme will wear the “C” for the Broncos this season. The Choiceland product is in his third season with Humboldt. Last season, he had 19 points (8G-11A) in 49 games for Humboldt. So far this season, Stromme has three points (1G-2A) in nine games.
There will be three assistant captains with the Broncos this year.
Brayden Skogstad will wear an “A”. This season, Skogstad has three points (1G-2A) in nine games. In the 2023-24 regular season, the Kelowna BC product had 14 points (10G-4A) in 49 games with Humboldt.
Maddox Amaral will also wear an “A”. Entering his third season with Humboldt, the Komoka Ont product had 40 points (16G-24A) in 54 games last year. This year, the 20-year-old has seven points (3G-4A) in six games.
Rounding out the leadership group is one of the newest members of the team, defenceman Tre Fouquette. Last year, the 20-year-old split the season with the Western Hockey League’s Brandon Wheat Kings and the Nipawin Hawks. The Warman native has 11 points (3G-8A) in nine games so far this season.
Bronco fans will have the chance to see the new leadership group for the first time on Saturday, as the Broncos host the La Ronge Ice Wolves.
