Tiffany Nixon elected in Mountain View County By-Election

Tiffany Nixon has been elected as a councillor in Mountain View County after winning the Division 4 By-Election.

Nixon received 191 votes, while Sean LaBrie garnered 158 votes.

Ballots were cast on October 16th with advance voting taking place on October 9 and 10 at Melvin Hall and Bergen Hall, respectively.

The By-Election was needed following the resignation of former Councillor Gord Krebs.

Nixon will serve until the next municipal election in October of 2025.

Division 4 includes the communities of Elkton/Rugby, Westcott, Fallentimber, Bergen, Harmattan, and Westerdale.
