Stringer OT hero for Wildcats over Weyburn

Dior Stringer scored the overtime winner as the Swift Current Innovation Federal Credit Union Wildcats beat Weyburn 2-1 this afternoon.

Jade Thompson had Swift Current's lone goal in regulation. It was her second of the weekend. 

The Wildcats got some revenge after the Gold Wings beat them 4-3 in the shootout in Saskatchewan female U18 AAA hockey action on Saturday.

Swift Current hosts Notre Dame on Wednesday.

The two clubs are tied for third place in league standings.
