On Oct. 20, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Red Deer RCMP received a notification that a vehicle had been stolen while the owner was shopping at a business located in South Red Deer.
GPS tracking allowed officers to track the vehicle.
With the assistance of Innisfail RCMP, Blackfalds RCMP, Red Deer RCMP General Investigations Section and Police Dog Services, the driver of the vehicle was arrested.
Jordan Kyle Glasgow, a 24-year-old resident of Red Deer, has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Flight from a Peace Officer
- Dangerous operation of a conveyance
- Driving while prohibited
Glasgow was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear on Nov. 4, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer.
