The Humboldt Broncos managed to walk away with two points after two games in the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon against the Bombers.
On Friday, the Broncos earned a 4-3 victory which was followed by the Bombers taking Saturday’s contest 2-1.
Goalie Ty Matonovich picked up his first win of the season on Friday night, making 44 saves.
Flin Flon jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the Broncos staged a comeback in the second period with Boris Kofman and Kye Benoche scoring.
Jeter Korte gave Humboldt their first lead of the game in the third period with his second goal of the season.
Josh Sale finished off the game with an empty netter, securing the victory for the Broncos.
On Saturday, the Bombers struck back and avoided a two-game sweep, defeating Humboldt 2-1.
Jeter Korte scored the lone goal for the Broncos on the power play.
Edouard Gauthier made 33 saves in the loss.
Following the weekend, the Broncos record 8-4-1, one point back of the Kindersley Klippers for top spot in the Nutrien Division.
