UNITY
Unity RCMP responded to several calls this week, including:
- Assisting individuals in retrieving personal property in two separate “keep the peace” requests.
- A peace bond inquiry.
- Addressing a Mental Health Act complaint.
- A vehicle collision involving a deer; was reported for insurance purposes, no injuries.
- Investigating a break and enter at a business in Landis.
- Handling a complaint of a deceased moose on the highway, which had been removed upon arrival.
- Conducting two well-being checks at the request of concerned individuals.
- Investigating reports of theft, assault, and damage to a vehicle.
- Examining a breach of probation complaint.
Unity RCMP also dealt with three traffic complaints and one false alarm.
WILKIE
In Wilkie, RCMP responded to:
- A single-vehicle collision near town; the driver sustained minor injuries but no charges were laid.
- A complaint about a deceased moose on the highway, which had already been removed.
- Mediation of a dispute between two adults.
- A loose dog incident involving an attack on a cat, remains under investigation.
- A disturbance complaint resulted in a verbal warning to the individuals involved.
MACKLIN
Macklin RCMP activity included:
- Three well-being checks for individuals at the request of family members or concerned citizens.
- Mediation of a dispute between two adults and another involving neighbours.
- Investigation of a vehicle theft attempt and a stolen vehicle report from Primate.
- An ongoing investigation into harassment complaints.
A single traffic complaint was also received in Macklin.
