U15 Broncos
The Swift Current Pure Chem Broncos picked up their first win on the season over the weekend.
They fell 4-3 to the North East Wolfpack Saturday but rebounded Sunday beating the Humboldt Broncos 4-3.
U13 Broncos
The Swift Current Service Master Broncos picked up five of a possible six points over the weekend on the road.
They started off with a 4-4 tie with the Regina Buffalo on Friday before beating Melville 3-1 on Saturday and doubling up the Yorkton Terriers 4-2 on Sunday.
U18 Wildcats
The Swift Current Full Line Ag Wildcats split their weekend games.
Goalie Karli Duncan stopped all 15 shots while Amy Brown, Charli Chubaty, Anaiah Stechyshyn all had multi-point outings in Swift Current's 4-0 win Saturday over the North East Aces.
Sunday they made a trip to Balfour to play the unbeaten Regina Rebels and fell 2-0.
U15 Wildcats
The Swift Current Hockey Co. Wildcats emerged with a 6-5 overtime win over the Parkland Fire.
Piper Arntsen's second goal of the game was the game winner while Laynee Rondeau had five points, two of which were goals.
U13 Wildcats
The Swift Current Wildcats lost both games to the Southeast Gold Wings 9-3 on Saturday and 6-2 on Sunday.
Forward Kysa Getzinger scored three of Swift Current's five goals over the weekend.
Oldtimers
Swift Current Oldtimers had another strong turnout and Brian LeMay came out of his two-year retirement and strapped the old Eatons’ catalogues on to make a goalie trio.
Rosters were changed up again this week but Team White prevailed over Team Black 12-7 this week despite Rod Thiessen’s strong defensive play and backcheck.
Chad Duckworth had four goals and Adam Krieser made up for last week's -5 performance with five goals this week. Ed Sauffert sniped two goals for Team Black
