The Estevan Police Service responded to several incidents on Nov. 4, including a collision involving a pedestrian.

Police received a report of a truck that collided with a woman who was walking her bike. The driver stopped to check on the woman before leaving the scene. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and her bike was damaged. Police believe a language barrier may have prevented an exchange of information and are asking the driver to contact them. Anyone with information, or who witnessed the collision, is asked to call the Estevan Police Service at 306-635-4767.

In a separate incident, a man was arrested at the Estevan Provincial Courthouse after allegedly assaulting a police officer. He was processed and released later in the day, with a court appearance scheduled at a later date.

Police are also investigating the theft of a wallet and debit card. Transactions were made at local businesses using the stolen card.

Additionally, a man from Weyburn was arrested on outstanding warrants issued by the Weyburn Police Service. He was released with a new court date at the Weyburn Provincial Courthouse.
