The Wetaskiwin RCMP are seeking the publics assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a road rage incident.

On Nov. 2 at 4:23 p.m., the Wetaskiwin RCMP received a report of an assault that just occurred on 3 Avenue in the Village of Hay Lakes.

Police and EMS assisted victims with several significant injuries.

Investigation revealed that a group of individuals pulled up to a home, and were approached by vehicle and a driver who confronted them on their driving.

The suspect exited his vehicle and a physical altercation took place with punches thrown and one individual dragged alongside the suspect vehicle.

RCMP are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect who is described as:

  • Fair complexion;
  • 25-30 years old;
  • Dirty blonde hair;
  • 6 feet 2 inches tall;
  • Wearing tan pants, a high visibility vest, black sunglasses with red lenses, black hat;
  • Driving a white ford F250 extended cab long box pickup missing the front emblem.
