RCMP have arrested a suspect following numerous break-and-enters at Tim Hortons across Alberta and Saskatchewan, including a location in Rocky View County.
The RCMP Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (SAD CRU), in collaboration with the RCMP Regina General Investigation Section, has arrested Joshua Elliot Moose, a 25-year-old from Medicine Hat following a five-month investigation.
The investigation revealed that Moose was allegedly involved in break-ins at 12 Tim Hortons locations in Alberta and five in Saskatchewan between June and October 2024.
Alberta locations include Rocky View County, Brooks, High River, Hanna, Vermilion, Rocky Mountain House, Strathmore, Drayton Valley, Didsbury, Stettler, and two in Wetaskiwin.
There were also five Saskatchewan locations, including Maple Creek, Kindersley, Swift Current, Saskatoon, and Indian Head,

During the arrest, authorities executed search warrants on Moose’s hotel room, vehicle, and apartment in Medicine Hat, seizing cash, tools, and firearms.
Moose has been charged with a total of 38 offences, including break and enter, possession of break-in tools, and unsafe storage of a firearm.
The suspect is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in the Saskatchewan Court of Justice in Regina on November 6, 2024.
