Lacombe country singer, Gord Bamford reported Wednesday night he was the victim of a break-in and theft.

Bamford who was staying in Calgary for an event, wrote on social media that his truck was broken into and some important items were stolen. Among the stolen belongings are a Morgan guitar in an SKB case, a grey Smithbilt cowboy hat in a hat case, a hockey bag full of merchandise, and a few meaningful gift items.

In a posted video, Bamford thanks his fans and hopes to catch those responsible.

"Thanks again folks for all the help out there. Hopefully, we can catch these people from stealing stuff. Well, the worst thing I hate is lying and stealing. So the guys or the people that have my stuff, I hope you're seeing this."
