Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools high school students are learning the skills needed to pursue a career in construction and engineering in a new construction camp.

Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools (RDCRS) in partnership with Eagle Builders have launched an immersive camp designed for high school students interested in construction and engineering.   

The five-day camp gives students hands-on experience in foundational construction skills and concrete component building.  

“We are excited to offer students this unique chance to explore careers in construction and engineering with one of the industry’s leaders,” said Tracey Millar, Career Pathway Coordinator at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools. “This partnership with Eagle Builders aligns with our commitment to providing practical, career-focused learning experiences for our students.”  

During the camp, students will work alongside industry professionals, gaining insights and practical skills to pursue careers in construction and engineering.

Through the program, students gain direct experience, gain a broad look at various aspects of construction and engineering, and receive training focused on skills used daily in industry with an emphasis on collaboration and critical thinking.
