The Student Transportation Association of Alberta (STAA) called on all Central Alberta students to create a work of art showcasing bus safety.

Chinook’s Edge students got to work, creating a safety poster incorporating this year’s theme, “Be Clever, Dress for the Weather.”

A winning entry from each grade was selected throughout the division and submitted to the provincial level.

Transportation Director Corinne Varga personally congratulated each of the students and presented them with their artwork in a frame, and a cash prize.
