Estevan will once again play host to a Remembrance Day Service which will look to invite the whole community to remember Canada's veterans.
That will be held as usual at the Estevan Comprehensive School, with a similar schedule as years before.
Local veteran and EStevan Legion member Craig Bird talks about what people should expect this Monday.
"Reembrance Day is going on as usual it will be up at the Estevan Comprehensive School and we're asking people to be up there for about 10:30. The program is going to start at 10:45 sharp so that we can do our moment of silence right at 11:00."
"So we'd like to have everybody in the gymnasium at the comprehensive school by no later than 10:30. So that way, everybody gets a chance to get seated and, get plates so that we can bring in some of our dignitaries and some of the folks that have some trouble getting into the school because of mobility issues and that sort of thing."
Afterwards, people will have the opportunity to get some lunch courtesy of the Estevan Legion.
"Once the Remembrance Day program is over they can all head down to the Estevan Legion and we're doing stew and dumplings for lunch. It's free for everybody. We're just asking that if they want to make a donation or contribution to the Legion and the coffee fund they can do that for the lunch."
Bird says he's hoping to have plenty of people at the ceremony in Estevan this year.
"It's only an hour or so out of your life to come and pay tribute to all of the members from the Estevan and area that have served and some unfortunately, were not able to come home, so it's to pay tribute to their sacrifice so that we can have the life that we have here in Estevan."
