The Portage Terriers are into rarified air with their current ten-game winning streak. The team hasn't won this many in a row since the 2022-2023 season when Kian Calder was the captain.
The Terriers put the win streak on the line against a team that hasn't beaten them at all in the last five seasons, the Winnipeg Blues. The Blues lost their last game on Monday to the Winkler Flyers 6-1, but managed their third win of the season the night previous, a 3-0 victory over the Winnipeg Freeze.
Portage took down the Freeze in their last game, a 6-2 win which saw offensive contributions from all through the lineup.
After the teams win over the Swan Valley Stampeders on the weekend, Decker Mujcin made sure to say that no team in the MJHL should be taken lightly. He and his teammates will look to add to the win total and the streak tonight with puck drop at 7:30 p.m.
