Light Up Lacombe kicks off on Wednesday (Nov. 27) to Dec. 1.  

The community-favourite holiday tradition, the Echo Energy Santa Claus Parade will be taking over the streets of Lacombe, followed by a tree lighting ceremony, and many more festive-themed activities and events for everyone to enjoy.  

Here is the schedule for Light Up Lacombe:  

  

Ongoing:  

Festival of Wreaths  

Date: Nov. 22 to Dec. 16.  

Location: Lacombe Memorial Centre   

Uniquely crafted festive wreaths will be on display and available for auction.  

All of the proceeds raised will go to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lacombe and District local mentoring programs.  

  

Wednesday, November 27  

A Swinging Singing Christmas  

Time: 7 p.m.  

Location: Lacombe Performing Arts Centre (5227 C&E Trail)  

  

Thursday, November 28  

Wagon Rides  

Time: 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Lacombe’s Christmas Faire  

Time: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Gingerbread House Contest

Lift Someone in the Light  

Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  

Location: St. Andrew’s United Church  

Gather around the fire with a cup of hot chocolate, enjoy cookies, and sing along to festive caroling.
