According to The Internet Movie Database (IMDb), Die, My Love is a movie set in a remote countryside. A woman struggles with internal conflicts—wanting to belong while embracing isolation, desiring freedom yet feeling confined, and yearning for the family while harbouring the urge to destroy it all.

"Despite her family’s tolerance for her unpredictable behaviour, she feels increasingly trapped. Her struggles encompass the complexities of motherhood, womanhood, the dullness of love, the fears tied to desire, and the anguish of having one's heart bound to another."
Residents from Airdrie had taken to social media during the film's shooting, saying they spotted film crews near Souto Farms (Dickson Stevenson Trail) in Rocky View County.
While the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA) Alberta Chapter has noted that filming of the movie has wrapped, plenty of other movies are being shot locally, including the Paramount+ series on the infamous JonBenét Ramsey case.
Earlier in the fall, it was announced that Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) and Clive Owen (Sin City) will star in the limited series about the JonBenét Ramsey case. Beginning this week, the series will be shot in Calgary and the surrounding areas.
"Melissa McCarthy (Can You Ever Forgive Me?) and Clive Owen (Closer) are set to star in the upcoming limited series JONBENÉT RAMSEY (working title) as JonBenét’s parents Patsy and John Bennett Ramsey. Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, production will begin in Calgary, Canada, with Academy Award nominee Richard LaGravenese (Behind the Candelabra) serving as showrunner and executive producer," Paramount+ stated in a news release.
The series will, 'explore the tragic unsolved murder of six-year-old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey. It follows the Ramsey family, before and after the tragedy, as they go through the painful loss of a child while facing intense public scrutiny caused by a media frenzy that caused this case to captivate an entire nation.'
"At the heart of the series is the story of Patsy and John Ramsey, – exploring the unbreakable partnership of these two complex people – as husband and wife, as mother and father – who had committed themselves and their children to build the narrative of a perfect, privileged life only to have it destroyed one Christmas night in 1996."
Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President/CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, said that Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen are extraordinary.
"... To delve into the tragic story that has cast a long, haunting shadow over American culture for nearly three decades," he said.
Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of programming at Paramount+, added that JonBenét Ramsey remains one of the country's most fascinating unsolved murders.
"The incredible talent of Melissa McCarthy, Clive Owen and the creative team led by Richard LaGravenese will illuminate her story with the acuity and nuance it deserves."
Paramount+ said the series will be executive-produced by David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Melissa McCarthy, and Anne Sewitsky.
According to ACTRA, the project began filming in and around Calgary and surrounding areas this Friday and will wrap up at the end of January 2025.
