The City of Moose Jaw released the official results from the municipal election this morning.
As expected, James Murdock was elected mayor of Moose Jaw by a landslide, while Jamey Logan, Patrick Boyle, Chris Warren, Heather Eby, Dawn Luhning and Carla Delaurier were elected to city council out of 24 candidates.
The results for mayor breaks down as follows:
- James Murdock (5,437) ELECTED

- Ballots over voted (134)
The breakdown for city council were as follows:

- Dawn Luhning (2,523) ELECTED
- Carla Delaurier (2,516) ELECTED

The total number of ballots cast was 8,606 for a voter turnout of about 31.6 per cent.
The new city council will be sworn in during a special city council meeting on Monday evening at 4 p.m. in council chambers.
