A star-studded lineup of local artists hit the stage Saturday night in Swift Current to help Country 94.1 celebrate its first birthday.
Tombstone Wiskey's frontman, Darrin Schwartz, Marcus Braun and his band, and Beechy's Evan Baxter will provide the entertainment beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The show, free to the public, will also include a plethora of door prizes for those in attendance to win including a grand prize of $941.
Schwartz joined Country 94.1's morning show on Tuesday to preview what type of tunes he'll be showing off at the party.
"I'll be playing some more country-orientated stuff," he said.
Marcus Braun and his bandmates will be the second act up on stage. Braun, wrote "Clovers", the song memorializing the 1986 Swift Current Broncos bus crash that claimed the lives of four players. He also released a new single, "Something In The Water" this summer.
"It's loosely related to country, loosely related to rock," he said. "It's that middle country-rock area, we kind of do a bit of both either way."
Beechy's Evan Baxter will help close out the night of tunes on the stage. His musical playing interest began during the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to his father.
"I feel very honoured to be able to come and play," he said. "It's a big deal for me to be able to come back to my hometown where I grew up and be able to play my music."
The first 50 people through the doors to the lower level of the Legion in Swift Current have a chance to win $941 with registration starting at 7:15 p.m.
