Environment Canada is calling for heavy snowfall in the majority of southeast Saskatchewan for the next couple of days. The fresh snow also brings strong winds causing questionable driving conditions on the highways.
As of 7:45 a.m., much of the highways directly south of Regina are showing reduced visibility. Residents looking to make their way to Regina today should proceed with caution, as most of the highways leading to the capital city will be covered with snow.
Highway 13 from Stoughton to Pangman through Weyburn is showing reduced visibility.
Highway 6 from the Regway Border Crossing northbound all the way to Regina is indicating reduced visibility for motorists.
Highway 18 from the junction of Highway 6 eastward going to Oungre is also showing reduced visibility.
Snow has started to come down inside Estevan's city limits, so we're expecting the area to be covered with snow as the morning wears on.
