Estevan Police Service responded to several accidents on Tuesday as snow continued to cause problems for motorists in the southeast.
EPS responded to a motor vehicle collision in the west-central part of the city, where an eastbound vehicle slid off the road and into a curb. The vehicle was towed due to the damage sustained. No injuries were reported.
A second collision occurred in the east-central part of the city, where a vehicle lost control and slid into a tree. The vehicle was also towed due to damage. The driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by EMS.
“We also received a number of calls related to non-reportable collisions. These are incidents that don’t require a tow truck, with no signs of impairment, both vehicles registered in Saskatchewan, and no injuries. So, a significant number of minor collisions, with just the two being reportable,” said Deputy Chief Warren Morrical.
