A significant snowfall event is expected for the Cochrane area, bringing total accumulations of 15 to 25 cm.
Snow will begin in southern Alberta this morning and spread northward throughout the day. The intensity of the snowfall will fluctuate, with 5 to 10 cm expected by Saturday morning.
Snowfall will become heavier early Saturday morning, with an additional 10 to 15 cm predicted by tomorrow evening.
The snow is expected to taper off and end gradually overnight into Sunday morning.
