The communities of Abbey, Cabri, Hazlet, and the surrounding RM's were able to nominate 68 potential winners, in nine categories for their efforts in business, municipal matters, and non-profit efforts.

Lindsey Alliban, economic development officer for the town of Hazlet, was joined by Jennifer Biensch, Jessica Smith, Sydney Gossard, Karla Sletten, Danielle Dietrick, Janelle Desautels, Eddie Gergely and Bailey Heggestad on the planning committee.

"It was all about recognizing people across our region," said Alliban.

In Business, there was Best in Business, Breakthrough Business, and Legacy Business.

Municipal categories included Municipal Leader of the Year - Rural, Municipal Leader of the Year - Urban, and Municipal Staff of the Year.

Alliban and the rest of the committee offered their thanks to Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan, Community Futures, SaskTel, SaskEnergy, Pioneer Co-op, MNP, and Innovation Federal Credit Union for sponsoring the event.

"And a big thanks to RBC for their support for the Three Points Economic Partnership and for being at the event to help," said Alliban.
