The Swift Current Branch Library is inviting southwest families out to enjoy some fun activities for their upcoming Christmas Family Day.
The library's Christmas Family Day is set for Saturday, December 7 and will be free to attend, although registration for some activities is required.
Olivia Brotzell, program services manager for the Swift Current Branch Library and Chinook Regional Library, is looking forward to spreading the holiday spirit and seeing library-goers enjoy some family fun.
"At 10:00 a.m. we have Christmas story time and cookie decorating," she explained. "At 1:00 p.m. we have our drop-in Where are the Elves scavenger hunt and then at 1:30 p.m. we have our family gingerbread building challenge."
Brotzell noted that registration is only necessary for cookie decorating and gingerbread house building as those activities will have limited availability and spots will fill up fast.
"We would love to see people come out to the library this December," Brotzell added. "Check out our great programs that are happening throughout the month and our special Christmas Family Day."
Those looking to register can call the library at (306) 778 - 2752 or visit the Swift Current Branch Library's website.
