The Central Alberta Humane Society (CA Humane) has announced the launch of its annual Giving Tree 2024 initiative.

This year, the Giving Tree focuses on four main areas of need:

  • Animal Care Needs: Items like stainless steel rolling carts, kennel supplies, and durable toys to enrich the lives of shelter animals.
  • Clinic Tools: Veterinary essentials such as an in-house urinalysis system, IV pumps, and recovery cones to provide top-quality medical care.
  • Washers & Dryers: Commercial and industrial-grade machines to ensure clean bedding and scrubs for both animals and staff, vital to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Animal Enclosures: Upgraded kitty condos and guinea pig-friendly enclosures to provide comfortable and functional spaces for small animals.

This year, the Giving Tree includes essential items that will significantly enhance the well-being and comfort of the Humane Society's beloved furry companions.

Your contribution to the Giving Tree directly impacts the quality of care provided. From specialized equipment to comfortable habitats, each item plays a crucial role in creating a nurturing environment for the animals.

By selecting an item from the Giving Tree, you help ensure each animal receives the care, comfort, and love they deserve. Whether it’s fresh bedding for a cozy kennel, durable toys for playful enrichment, or life-saving medical tools for the clinic, your support makes a lasting difference.

How to Contribute

  • Browse the Giving Tree Wish List at cahumane.com.

  • Make a Monetary Donation: Contributions of any size are appreciated and go directly toward meeting these urgent needs.

"For the animals in our care, every donation represents a brighter future,” said Kelly Richard, Fund Development Coordinator at CA Humane. “Each item on the Giving Tree helps us create a safe, clean, and loving environment for the animals who need it most.”
