Rural buses cancelled for southeast schools due to icy conditions

The freezing rain that fell in the southeast continues to wreak havoc on the area. With highways around the area seeing icy, slick conditions with some blowing snow affecting visibility, the Southeast Cornerstone School Division has cancelled rural school bus routes. 

As of now, the following routes have been cancelled for the morning: 

• Estevan Rural
• Carievale
• Alameda
• Carnduff
• Lampman
• Macoun
• Oxbow
• Stoughton
• Weldon
• Midale
• Moosomin
• Redvers
• Wawota
• Wapella
• Rocanville

Roads around the southeast have been covered with loose, swirling snow and ice after a weekend of freezing rain in the area. No word yet as to if these busses will run this afternoon. Routes within the city will continue to run this morning.
