Council releases 2025 fee changes bylaw for public comment

The city of Estevan is putting forward a new fee-charging bylaw which is introducing some changes to the area.

Many of those service fees are changing, with the bylaw requiring the changes be marked in red.

City Clerk Judy Pilloud talks about the changes they're making with this year's fees bylaw.

"These fees, we started putting all fees for every bylaw into one bylaw so that it is looked at annually before it is buried inside of bylaws as sometimes it doesn't get adjusted at a regular rate. So we've tried to move towards this model, and it's been working for quite a few years now."

The first reading took place earlier this week and has opened up the fee changes for public comment.
