The Estevan Police Service responded to multiple incidents this week, including driving complaints and a theft at the Leisure Centre.

On Monday, the Estevan Police Service received a complaint about youth operating vehicles erratically and performing stunts in a local business parking lot. Members attended, monitored the lot, and spoke with several young drivers, but no concerning driving actions were observed.

Throughout the day, multiple driving complaints were received about vehicles reported to be driving too fast for road conditions. EPS reminded motorists to reduce their speed and increase their following distance to minimize the risk of collisions in winter conditions.

The following day, EPS received a report of a suspicious male in an alley near Valley Street. Members attended and located the male, who was determined to be a resident of the area.

A Report an Impaired Driver (RID) call was received regarding a grey Dodge Dakota heading north on Highway 47. Members attended but were unable to locate the vehicle.

EPS also received a report of a suspended driver believed to frequently operate a vehicle within the city. The individual was identified, and the matter remains under investigation.

A theft from a locker at the Leisure Centre was reported. The matter is still under investigation, and EPS is reminding the community to secure their belongings when leaving them in public spaces to deter theft.
