The RCMP reported over the weekend the second suspect in the murder of Talon Lonethunder was arrested last week.  

Dwayne Maxie, who was wanted on a charge of manslaughter, was arrested Thursday in Regina by the Regina Police Service. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to make an appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on Monday morning.  

Lonethunder was found dead in a residence on White Bear First Nation in the early morning hours of December 3rd. Shortly after, based on information collected during the investigation, the RCMP announced that 26-year-old Maxie was charged with manslaughter, and 22-year-old Jeremy Whitebear was charged with second-degree murder.  

Whitebear was arrested at a home on White Bear First Nation on December 7th and appeared in court on December 9th
