Airdrie celebrates its holiday spirit.

Closer to home, Airdrie is also getting into the festive spirit with its holiday lights tradition. One resident has created a Facebook group showcasing the city's most festively decorated homes. With over 4,000 members, the group provides a shared document featuring addresses, quadrants, and photos, allowing families to plan their light tours.

The group, which began with just 10 to 20 addresses, now features 40 to 50 homes, with the list growing each year. Inspired by Calgary’s “Light Up Calgary,” the page highlights Airdrie’s community pride and festive creativity.

The group's founder shared, "Christmas holds a special place in my heart, and seeing so many homes light up the city yearly is truly amazing. "
