According to the Highway Hotline, the Trans-Canada Highway west of Swift Current has re-opened about an hour after being closed by the RCMP.

RCMP have closed the westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway west of Swift Current.

Motorists are being advised of poor road conditions that have prompted this response. According to the Highway Hotline, multiple vehicle collisions have also contributed to this decision.

Traffic is currently being redirected at the intersection near Finning Cat.

Travel is not recommended on the Trans-Canada Highway, Highway 37 from Gull Lake to Cabri, or on Highway 32 from Cabri to Swift Current.
