HDHF announces assessment for CT scan services in Humboldt
Following a commitment from the Saskatchewan Health Authority to enter into an exploration process, the Humboldt District Health Centre could be the next rural centre to offer CT scan services.

Boxing Day is officially lift off day for Kirk Muyres on his way to a date with destiny. St. Gregor’s native son has been an ambassador to the sport of curling both provincially and nationally. Now, along with mixed doubles curling partner Laura Walker, he’s hoping to step onto the international stage by winning his way to an Olympic berth for Canada at the 2026 Games in Italy.

Good Neighbour Store hands out $463,000 of donations to 61 different organizations
It was a record-breaking year for the Good Neighbour Store in Humboldt.
On Monday, they made their annual presentation with money they were able to raise at the store to a variety of groups.
This year, the Good Neighbour Store was able to donate to 61 different organizations for a total of $463,000.

Highway 5 construction project wraps up for the winter
It's clear sailing along Highway 5 through the Humboldt corridor to Saskatoon - for the time being at least.

Large crowd enjoys a wonderful evening for a tree lighting in Humboldt
Thursday night was the perfect weather for a tree lighting. Hundreds gathered in Civic Park, downtown Humboldt, for what’s become a much-anticipated seasonal event.
The community tree lighting drew the largest crowd since it’s return as an annual event several years ago. This year, the Civic Park Gazebo was lit up and the central point for much of the evening’s activity.
